“ My friend is celiac which is why we chose this restaurant as it serves all pizzas and noodles also as a gluten-free option. She was all set for cardboard-tasting dishes, as it so often happens with gluten-free food, and was positively surprised with the pizza she'd ordered. Both, the sepia I had and her gluten-free pizza were absolutely delicious and although we got served the wrong entrees - which also tasted great and we ate (and later paid) as we first thought these were "greetings from the kitchen" - I am thrilled how attentive and friendly the service was. The place was packed that day and mistakes can happen, so we didn't even bother mentioning the mixup. The interior is clean, unpretentious, functional with a touch of rustic flair and although the tables are placed quite close together it never felt crowded. Parking was conveniently right next to the restaurant, which with stairs leading up to the entrance is however not wheelchair accessible. All in all it was a lovely evening and definitely not my last visit at the Lustnauer Mühle. ”

“ Today we had reserved a table for a family lunch and had a great time at the venue. My spouse and I really enjoy our time here since this is one of the very few restaurants in the area that are truely Celiac-friendly. The atmosphere of the historic building is truely great, with a tastefully decorated interior and the exposed oven. The staff is very proficient, friendly and efficient. Especially the good communication between waitors and kitchen impressed me immensely. When we occasionally order food for take-away the order is practically always done in the 20 minutes it takes me to get to the restaurant. In summer there is a small number of tables outside that invite for a refreshing break in the shade of the old tree. In summary, a truely great restaurant, especially thanks to the staff. ”
